Lessons From A Thorn Apple

Dang, that hurts!
I was out cutting trails with my new chain saw last week. Getting close to having all of them cleared. Although I admit I am learning it is a full time job to keep them up as the wind droping trees and branches is an endless occurrence.
Durning my time out I came upon a Thorn apple tree that's branches were out in the trail, so I decided to trim them back a bit. At first glance I noticed the long thick thorns and my immediate thought was the crown of thorns Jesus endured. Long pause... Many emotions were felt with that thought.
As I worked to get the branches cut back in my tee shirt and jeans, I had another thought of I'm not dressed for this. I came away from the trimming with blood dripping down my arms from the deep thorn punctures. I didn't really think too much more about it. I got back to the house, cleaned my wounds and the blood and carried on.
A few days later my arm got red, puffy, hot swollen and itched in a way that made me feel near crazy inside. Again Jesus came to mind and how he managed to endure.
Turns out I had a reaction to the thorn cuts. Good thing I am a holistic genius and know what to do with things like this. I'm happy to say my wounds are nearly healed and I've learned a valuable lesson about trail cutting and thorn apple trees I'm sure I will not forget anytime soon. ๐
Pause, reflect along the way. Take in life. Breathe deep and settle into the silence.
Being here and NOW is the place of wisdom. It's the place we connect to Source. Not outside ourselves, rather inside the place where Source and us remain One, always.
I will be holding a new moon gathering in early May. We will be speaking to the power of NOW. I will also be sharing some of the teachings the old ones passed on to me that support me in living in union with Creator and creation. Union with the Self. Union with Life. If you practice the things shared, your life will change from the inside out.
When I hold sacred space in a gathering, I am intuitively guided as to what to share, how to share and what those in the circle are most needing. The way I hold space in a gathering is similar to the way I conducted sweat lodges and sang the songs in the lodge. I was taught by my spiritual teacher how to run a sweat lodge many decades ago. It was not a weekend course. It was months, years, long nights and endless days, year after year. Practice, practice, practice. Study, study, study. Immersion, listening on multi dimensions. Learning from mistakes or errors in practice. I've participated in 100's of sweats over the years. I've learned the hard way, by trial and error. For every action there is a consequence, a ripple, a vibration created. Come with, be with a good heart, goes along way in learning to be an open conduit and in that creating a ripple that is constructive rather then destructive. This is always at the forefront of my being.
100's would gather for a sweat. Some would come from 100's of miles away. We would run 3 sweats a night to accommodate those that traveled to be in ceremony. Often I would sweat 3 times a night. In 2 sweats I would sing the songs as I was one of the few who knew them. In 1, I would run the sweat, sometimes my teacher would be at my side. Other times I was in communication with him in other dimensions if I had questions. Mostly I tuned into Spirit. I felt into my being. I felt into those who had come. I knew what they needed. I felt their hearts. I allowed Spirit to guide me as to what songs, what prayers, what healing would serve those gathered.
I coach, mentor, guide, and teach this way. I serve this way in all I do when I remember who I am and I allow Spirit to utilize me as a conduit for the good, the holy and the beautiful. When we gather together you receive the support from Source that you are ready to receive. It may come through me, through creation or perhaps through someone in the circle with you. It will come indeed if you allow it.
Read that again.
Being open to receive is the way to receiving the bounty and blessing of Creator and creation. In my younger days I was stubborn, determined and hard headed. Did I forget angry. I was angry a lot of the time. I thought I knew what was best for me. I lived closed off, on guard and in protective mode. It was when I learned to let go and trust the Creator, creation, my guides, teachers, and helpers that I learned how to be a receiver of Spirit, and of the good, the holy and the beautiful.
Let go and have faith.
Trust that everything is working out exactly as it's suppose to with Divine Blessings.
Open to receive the bountiful blessing you seek.
Expect it.
Open to the unfolding.
Be curious with LIFE.
Be in the NOW.
Now is the only place creation happens. It does not occur in the past or the future. Yet our minds spend an enormous amount of time in other than the NOW. Silly humans.
Moving our attention and awareness into the NOW more and more of the time is moving our awarness with God. Moving in union with the thing that beats your heart. Moving in harmony with our true nature. From this space we align with miracles, well-being, wealth, peace like no other, satisfaction, fulfillment and we simply and powerfully know what to do. We remember what we've long forgotten.
I like that feeling.
I like feeling good.
I like letting go.
I like being held and supported every step of the way.
I like experiencing miracles.
I love that I need do nothing and though me all is done.
See you at the May, new moon gathering if it calls to your heart. I will create a Facebook event soon, so look for it and contact me to reserve your spot in the circle.
Peace
~Anita๐
